Convention week is a home game

When the big summer conventions land downtown, every hotel lobby, rooftop, and Gaslamp storefront becomes an activation venue — and the brands that win the week are the ones giving attendees something wearable and exclusive. A live press station inside an off-site brand house is tailor-made for that arms race: exclusive designs pressed on demand, lines that become their own promotion, and full-color art that handles character-heavy, gradient-heavy creative without compromise. Book convention-week dates early; the whole city's docks are spoken for by June.

Beyond the convention corridor

The rest of the calendar looks different and books differently. Coastal corporate retreats in La Jolla and Del Mar favor the personalization bar — smaller groups, premium garments, names and monograms. Stadium and arena dates run the classic fan-zone playbook. Craft-brewery anniversaries in North Park and Miramar are some of our favorite single-press bookings anywhere: one great design, a shoulder-to-shoulder crowd, and totes and tees moving until the taps close.

The drive that isn't a problem

San Diego sits inside the no-travel-fee zone, and the I-5 run from our Orange County shop is a morning commute, not an expedition. That matters practically: late garment additions, forgotten-size rescues, and split-day programs (press the gala Friday, the fun-run Saturday) are all feasible because the shop that makes the film is 90 minutes up the coast, not across a state line.

Tell us the venue in the quote form; if it's a downtown hotel during a citywide, mention the dates first and we'll confirm dock strategy before anything else, because during convention week the dock is the plan.
